Latest Spurs team news ahead of must-win game in Champions League
Randal Kolo Muani took part in Tottenham training ahead of their Champions League match against Slavia Prague, but Brennan Johnson and Destiny Udogie were both absent.
Spurs host the Czech side on Tuesday night knowing they need to pick up maximum points from their remaining three league phase fixtures to have a chance of progressing straight through to the last 16.
The squad were out for their open training session at Hotspur Way on Monday afternoon and Kolo Muani was involved, having been taken off with just over 15 minutes to go in Saturday’s 2-0 home Premier League win over Brentford.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank was not asked about any injury after the game, though the Paris Saint-Germain loanee was seen limping on his way out of the stadium.
While Kolo Muani took part in Spurs training on Monday, there was no sign of Johnson or Udogie.
Johnson was an unused substitute against Brentford, though there has been no confirmation of any injury concern for the Welsh winger.
Udogie missed that match with an issue he picked up in midweek when playing the full 90 minutes against Newcastle at St James' Park.
"He got a soft tissue injury, unfortunately, against Newcastle," Frank said of the Italy left-back on Saturday.
Asked how long he expected Udogie to be out, he added: "Not too long, not too long."
Radu Dragusin, Kota Takai and Mathys Tel were all involved in training on Monday but will not feature against Slavia Prague.
The trio were not included in Tottenham’s squad for the league phase of the Champions League.
While the main group trained in front of the cameras, James Maddison was on the grass by himself on a pitch in the distance.
The midfielder - who will be a special guest on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football alongside Jamie Carragher - then came over to embrace Frank and have a chat before making his way back inside.
Maddison has not played a competitive minute under Frank after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury in pre-season and it remains to be seen whether he will return to action before the end of the campaign.
Spurs also remain without Dominic Solanke, Dejan Kulusevski and Yves Bissouma.
