In a recent report, Turkish.Football mentioned that Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a move for Galatasaray midfielder Gabriel Sara. It has been stated that Spurs are keeping a keen eye on the Brazilian talent ahead of a potential move for him this summer.

Sara’s Impressive Form In Turkish Football

The 26-year-old is having an impressive campaign at the Turkish club as he has managed to catch the eye at times for them in the middle of the park. Sara has made 39 appearances for Galatasaray this season, scoring six times and securing three assists in multiple competitions.

The Brazilian midfielder is one of the best players in his position in the Turkish Super Lig. Thus, it makes sense for Spurs to try and lure him to England this summer.

His current contract at the Turkish club will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it difficult for Tottenham to snap him up on the cheap in the upcoming transfer period.

Should Tottenham Hotspur Move In For Sara?

Sara loves a tackle and can time his challenges well to secure the ball back for his team inside his half. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when needed and can even shoot it with power from long range.

The Turkish sensation has got the eye to play some killer passes in the final third and is full of energy and running in the middle of the park. Sara is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also play as a defensive midfielder or in the number ten position if required. However, only time will tell whether he can make a smooth transition to life in the Premier League if Spurs manage to sign him this summer.

We can expect Sara to bring more quality and depth to Tottenham’s midfield department. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the North London club in the coming seasons.

At 26, Sara has his peak years ahead of him, so the Premier League outfit would be wise to move in for him this off-season. However, Tottenham have to give the Turkish talent some time to adjust to life in English football before they can get the best out of the player.
