Tottenham Hotspur travel to Everton on Sunday, aiming to bounce back immediately from their first defeat in eight matches.
A 2-1 home loss to Aston Villa last weekend ended Tottenham’s impressive unbeaten run. Consequently, manager Thomas Frank will surely demand a strong response from his players today. Despite that recent setback, Spurs can take huge confidence from their excellent away form.
They currently boast the best away record in the Premier League. In fact, they remain unbeaten on their travels this season. Maintaining that resilience will be crucial today, however. Frank must navigate a severe injury crisis that has decimated his squad, particularly affecting the defence and midfield.
Thomas Frank is contending with a massive injury list, with nine first-team players unavailable for the trip to Merseyside. Key defenders Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie are out, alongside influential midfielders James Maddison and Yves Bissouma. Dominic Solanke also remains sidelined.
On a positive note, striker Randal Kolo Muani has recovered from injury and is expected to be involved from the bench. João Palhinha, who made a remarkable 10 tackles against Villa, will anchor the midfield, while Richarlison is expected to lead the line.
Tottenham Hotspur predicted XI: Vicario; Porro, Danso, Van de Ven, Spence; Palhinha, Bentancur; Kudus, Bergvall, Simons; Richarlison
The Premier League fixture will take place at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday, 26 October 2025, with kick-off scheduled for 4:30 pm BST.
The fans in the UK can watch this match live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League. Coverage begins at 4:00 pm BST.
