Tottenham Hotspur travel to the East Midlands on Sunday, aiming to maintain their recent resurgence.
Thomas Frank’s side have won back-to-back games in all competitions. These victories have lifted the mood after a difficult November. A win here would mark three consecutive victories for the first time under the new manager.
Spurs have been clinical on the road this season. They are the only team to have scored in every away game so far. However, history suggests they need to be defensively solid to win at the City Ground. Tottenham have not won any of their five Premier League away games against Forest when conceding a goal.
Thomas Frank has confirmed that Brennan Johnson is available to face his former club. The forward has recovered from a knock and is back in training. However, the squad remains depleted by injuries. Key players Dominic Solanke, James Maddison, and Dejan Kulusevski are all sidelined. Furthermore, Destiny Udogie is out with a thigh injury.
This means Djed Spence is likely to continue at left-back. In midfield, Lucas Bergvall is expected to drop to the bench, with Archie Gray partnering Rodrigo Bentancur. Richarlison will lead the line again. The Brazilian has been pivotal this season, leading the team with eight goal involvements. He will be supported by Mohammed Kudus and Xavi Simons.
Tottenham Hotspur predicted XI: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Spence; Bentancur, Gray; Kudus, Simons, Kolo Muani; Richarlison
The Premier League fixture takes place at the City Ground on Sunday, 14 December 2025. Kick-off is scheduled for 2:00 pm GMT.
The match will be broadcast live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event. Coverage starts at 1:00 pm GMT.
