Tottenham Hotspur fell to their fourth consecutive defeat on Sunday as they slumped to a shock 4-2 loss away at Liverpool.

Late goals from Richarlison and Son Heung-min helped soften the blow after Spurs were torn apart in the first hour of the game, leaving manager Ange Postecoglou looking increasingly exasperated on the sidelines.

Son Heung-min - 7/10

Son put in a massive shift here. From the first whistle to the last, he did what he could to run at Liverpool's back line and try drag Spurs to a positive result.

He deserved his late goal, but unfortunately it all came a little too late.

Honourable mention

Richarlison - 7/10

Had he played more than 29 minutes, Richarlison would likely be the top performer. He came off the bench on the hour mark and made an immediate impact up alongside Son.

The Brazilian bagged the first goal and quickly set up the second, with his powerful runs causing plenty of problems for a Liverpool back line that quickly looked to be tiring out.

Tottenham's worst player vs Liverpool

Emerson Royal - 3/10

He's not a left-back and so you have to cut Emerson Royal a little bit of slack, but the issues with his performance here had almost nothing to do with the side of the pitch he was on.

Time and time again, Emerson simply declined to track Mohamed Salah's runs into the box, and after that led to the opening goal, he went and gave the ball away for the third. A rough day at the office.

Yves Bissouma - 4/10

Harvey Elliott had the freedom of the entire midfield to waltz around Anfield because Yves Bissouma simply couldn't get anywhere near him.

Consistency is key in a position as important as his, but Bissouma failed to justify his inclusion in the team and may find himself back on the bench soon.
