Training: Boxing clever! | OneFootball

The festive period means hard work for the City squad who were once again training at the CFA on Boxing Day afternoon.

With an early kick-off to come against Nottingham Forest tomorrow (Saturday 27 December, 12:30 kick-off UK), there’s no time to rest for our boys.

Having trained on Christmas Day as well, the schedule is never kind for players at this time of year, but with the chance of returning to the top of the Premier League ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Brighton later in the afternoon, the focus is on extending our winning run to eight games at the City Ground.

Standing in our way is an improving Forest side, now under the charge of Sean Dyche - so this will be a tough 90 minutes - and today’s session mirrored the work ahead!
