The January window continues to heat up as the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool explore the market as the second half of the Premier League season begins. The Gunners are set to send young star Ethan Nwaneri on loan to Marseille, while Gabriel Jesus continues to be linked with a return to Brazil, which could open the door for an arrival.

There has been a twist in the transfer talks between Chelsea and Rennes for star defender Jeremy Jacquet. While personal terms have been agreed with the highly rated Jacquet, an agreement over a fee between the two clubs is still missing, which has led to suggestions that the player will remain in France for the rest of the season before joining Chelsea in the summer. Arsenal have also been linked, while Bournemouth’s Marcos Senesi has been touted as an alternative.

Man Utd continue to be interested in Ruben Neves, but now Real Madrid have joined the race for the former Wolves defender, who is in the final six months of his contract with Al-Hilal. Ruben Loftus-Cheek - previously dubbed a “secret target” - is of interest. Tottenham still want to sign a new winger this month, and will soon announce the signing of Souza.
