Arsenal make Scott move

Bournemouth have turned down Arsenal's enquiry for midfielder Alex Scott, insisting the 22-year-old is not for sale this summer.

BBC Sport report that Arsenal’s search for a new central midfielder has taken them to approach the Cherries regarding Scott, who is also of interest to Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea.

Bournemouth dismissed the approach, and instead plan on extending Scott’s contract beyond the two years it has left to run.

Diomande 'expects to leave RB Leipzig'

RB Leipzig forward Yan Diomande has revealed he expects to leave the Bundesliga club this summer amid reported interest from PSG and Liverpool.

The Ivory Coast international said his priority remains helping his country at the World Cup rather than focusing on transfer speculation.

Speaking before Tuesday's last-32 clash against Norway, Diomande explained that he is unaware of the latest rumours, but added that his agent is handling any discussions about his future.

"First of all, like I said, my dream is playing for my country and making history with my country," he told reporters.

"I don't have Instagram anymore, I don't have TikTok, so I can't see anything but I expect to leave [RB Leipzig] of course.

"I have an agent who's going to manage the rest, but for me the most important thing right now is focusing on the World Cup with my country and making history with them."

Tonali set for huge Tottenham payday

Tottenham have offered Sandro Tonali a six-year contract worth £275,000 per week.

That’s according to The Mirror, who report that the contract would make him the highest-paid player in the club’s history.

Though there have been suggestions that Harry Kane’s highly incentivised contract would have seen him pocket more.

Newcastle are demanding £100m for the Italian, but personal teams between the player and Spurs are not understood to be an issue.

If Spurs meet this valuation, the midfielder will be on his way to Roberto de Zerbi’s team.

Liverpool step up Barcola interest as Diomande eyes PSG

Liverpool could turn attentions to Bradley Barcola after receiving a major blow in their pursuit of Yan Diomande.

The Reds had been hoping to pull off a big-money deal for RB Leipzig and Ivory Coast star Diomande to follow their surprise capture of Spain winger Victor Munoz from Osasuna earlier this month.

However, it was widely reported last night that the 19-year-old wants to join Paris Saint-Germain and has an agreement on personal terms with the reigning French and European champions, with club-to-club negotiations underway.

It has been suggested by talkSPORT that Liverpool could now step up their interest in PSG’s Barcola instead, with Said El Mala of Cologne and Matias Fernandez-Pardo of Lille also said to be potential alternatives to Diomande.

Cristian Orozco looks set to complete his transfer to Manchester United.

A deal to take the highly-rated teenage midfielder from Colombian outfit Fortaleza FC to Old Trafford was first agreed last year.

Man Utd reached a pre-contract agreement for Orozco to join the club when he turns 18 this summer.

Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra recently reported that the player would travel to the UK on Sunday, accompanied by United’s lead scout in South America, Giuseppe Antonaccio.

He added that Orozco would undergo a medical ahead of being officially announced as a United player likely around the time of his 18th birthday, which is on July 13.
