Transfer news – Mexican football sensation catches PSG’s eye

The winter transfer window for 2025/2026 is gradually being prepared, as well as the future, as always. So, rumors surrounding Paris Saint-Germain continue. This time, it's Marca reporting an interest in Gilberto Mora, the 16-year-old offensive midfielder from Tijuana and new phenomenon of Mexican football.

"Following his performances at the U-20 World Cup, several major European teams are reportedly monitoring the Mexican player. Liga clubs such as Real Madrid and Barcelona, as well as Manchester City, Arsenal, and Manchester United in the Premier League, are said to be eyeing Gilberto Mora. PSG has also been mentioned. The player's agent, Rafaela Pimenta, indicated that Mora is ready to move to a European club by next summer, after the 2026 World Cup."

We remain cautious, there is nothing concrete at the moment. It would be logical for PSG to monitor a player touted as a huge talent, but there's no saying that Gilberto Mora could be heading to Paris. Not that it's impossible either.
