One week left. The transfer window is rumbling on towards its closing stages and that can only mean one thing: panic stations.

As clubs scramble to get their business done, here are some of the biggest confirmed and rumoured transfers to come out of the last seven days.

Confirmed: Eberechi Eze to Arsenal

There was nowhere else to start. Eberechi Eze’s move to North London is one which will feel oh so sweet for a boyhood fan who got the chance to reject Tottenham Hotspur in the process.

Over five seasons at Crystal Palace, the now 27-year-old made himself a hero in South London. Having contributed to 68 goals in 169 appearances, including the goal which secured the club their first ever major trophy in the FA Cup final, it’s fair to say he’s earned his move north.

His Emirates move – worth £67.5 million – represents the huge transfer for which he’s felt destined for some time.

Confirmed: Everybody to Morecambe

The story of Morecambe FC is perhaps the most feel-good in football right now, but it was oh so close to being a tragedy.

After it looked as though their time as a football club was within touching distance of coming to an end, with the club suspended by the National League following a tumultuous sale process between then owners Bond Group and prospective buyers Panjab Warriors.

However, at the start of last week, the club was sold and its suspension was lifted. At the time, Morecambe had only five players registered ahead of a game against Altrincham later in the week. So, they had to make transfers. Lots of them. They even brought in a new manager, with Ashvir Singh Johal replacing Derek Adams.

In came Mohammed Sangare, followed by Harrison Panayiotou, Raheem Conte, Archie Mair, Ludwig Francillette, Ben Williams, Jake Cain, Alie Sesay (those last five all in one day), Daniel Ogwuru, Admiral Muskwe, Joe Nuttall, Ma’kel Campbell, and most recently Miguel Azeez.

That’s 13 signings in one week. The result? A 2-1 win against Altrincham in their first game post-suspension. Not bad for a club who could’ve fallen out of existence not two weeks ago.

Rumour: Tyler Dibling to Everton

For a fee of a little over £40 million, Southampton’s Tyler Dibling looks set for a move to Everton. The 19-year-old was always likely to return to the Premier League following impressive performances with relegated Southampton, however a reported £100 million valuation slowed down a move.

Now, though, the price is lower, and Everton look set to bring the Englishman to Merseyside. Dibling notched seven goal contributions in 44 appearances for Southampton across all competitions.

Confirmed: Loïc Badé and Claudio Echeverri to Bayer Leverkusen

In their bid to avoid falling by the wayside following the departures of manager Xabi Alonso and key player Florian Wirtz, Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed the signings of French defender LoïcBadé and young Argentine Claudio Echeverri.

Badé has joined on a permanent deal from Sevilla in a deal thought to be worth over £28 million including potential add-ons. His contract will keep him at the BayArena until 2030.

Meanwhile, Echeverri has joined the club on loan from Manchester City. His move will keep him in Germany for a season and there is no option to buy. The 19-year-old made three Manchester City appearances last season, notably making his debut in the FA Cup final, where his side lost to Crystal Palace.

Confirmed: Nikola Krstović to Atalanta

Following Serie A top-scorer Mateo Retegui’s big-money move from Atalanta to Saudi Arabian outfit Al Qadsiah earlier in the window, the question has been: how will they replace him?

The answer comes in the form of 25-year-old Montenegrin Nikola Krstović, who scored 11 Serie A goals for Lecce last season.

Atalanta have paid a reported £22 million fee for his services, and he has big shoes to fill if he’s to match the 25 league goals scored by his predecessor last season.

Rumour: Julio Enciso to… whom?

Brighton’s Julio Enciso – scorer of the Premier League goal of the season back in 2023 – is reportedly set to leave the club to sign for Strasbourg. And Chelsea.

For a fee of £13.8 million, the Paraguayan will join Strasbourg in France. After a year, he will then move to Chelsea.

No, he isn’t joining Chelsea before a loan to Strasbourg. He’s joining the French side permanently; with a guarantee he will then move to Stamford Bridge.

Really, Enciso is set to sign for BlueCo, the company which owns both clubs. Make of all of this what you will.

Confirmed: Ben Gannon Doak to Bournemouth

After signing for Liverpool for around £630,000 in 2022, Ben Gannon Doak has joined Bournemouth for a fee of around £25 million despite only making 10 appearances for The Reds.

The 19-year-old has signed shortly after the departure of Dango Outtara to Brentford, so he fills a gap in The Cherries’ forward line and has a chance to prove himself as a Premier League-quality player.

Confirmed: Renato Veiga to Villarreal

With 18 Chelsea appearances and a serviceable loan spell at Juventus in tow, Renato Veiga has left Stamford Bridge in favour of Villarreal’s Estadio de la Cerámica in a reported club-record transfer for The Yellow Submarine.

A fee of £26 million was enough to secure the defender’s services after he initially moved to Chelsea from Basel for £12 million in 2024.

Rumour: Gianluigi Donnarumma to Manchester City

Following James Trafford’s unfortunate display against Tottenham Hotspur in Manchester City’s last game, they’ve found speculation surrounding a move for Paris Saint-Germain’s Gianluigi Donnarumma ramped up to a new level.

It had been reported that the captain of the Italian national team had agreed terms with City, however the club have since rebuffed this.

What’s clear is that Donnarumma will not be a PSG player by the end of the transfer window, and that a move to Manchester is also reliant upon the future of Ederson. Right now, the club has three excellent goalkeepers in the aforementioned Trafford and Ederson, along with Stefan Ortega-Moreno.

If Donnarumma is to move to Eastlands, someone has to budge.

Confirmed: Noah Okafor to Leeds United

Things looked so bright for Leeds United this time one week ago, with the club having just beaten Everton in their first game back in the Premier League.

Now, after suffering a big loss to Arsenal at the Emirates, they’ve crashed down to Earth just a little.

Still, they’ve got the transfer of Noah Okafor to be optimistic about, with the Swiss international swapping San Siro for Elland Road in a move worth £18 million.

The 25-year-old winger scored seven goals for AC Milan in 54 appearances and is the man who pushed Premier League spending to £2.37 billion this summer alone – the highest sum ever.

You can keep up with all the transfer business here at FromTheSpot, with one more transfer round-up to come next week at the conclusion of the window.
