Manu Koné, the 25-year-old midfielder for AS Roma (under contract until 2029) and the French national team, has previously been mentioned among Paris Saint-Germain’s transfer targets. Il Messaggero reported this Monday that the player is indeed tempted by PSG, but with one major obstacle.

Koné is a regular in transfer rumors, but there has never been the slightest concrete sign of anything. Even so, he seems like an interesting profile, and maybe PSG will eventually make a move. Especially if the French international is indeed particularly tempted. However, that last point is not certain either. So for now, a transfer seems very far off. Koné and PSG may both have very different ideas for the future.
