Igor Tudor feels Juventus ‘missed’ Francisco Conceicao during his injury and welcomes him back from the start against Hellas Verona this afternoon.
It kicks off at the Stadio Bentegodi at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT).
This represents a return for Tudor, who was on the bench of Hellas Verona in the 2021-22 campaign and helped steer them to Serie A safety.
“I had a wonderful year at Verona, it’s a beautiful city, but this is a very important match and they are always difficult to beat on home turf. We’re going to have to push really hard to do what we want today,” Tudor told DAZN Italia.

It has been a thrilling and chaotic week for Juventus, who beat Inter 4-3 in Serie A, then came back from 4-2 down in stoppages to hold Borussia Dortmund 4-4 in the Champions League.
“Details are essential in every match, when defending and attacking. We used up a lot of energy over the last two games,” confessed the coach.
“I think this is a big test for us, because we want to have the same hunger and motivation that we saw against Inter and Borussia Dortmund.”
Francisco Conceicao returns to the squad and indeed is straight into the starting XI with Dusan Vlahovic and Kenan Yildiz upfront.
“Cisco had two or three training sessions, we’ll see how long he can last, but he’s a very important player and we missed him lately,” concluded Tudor.
