A hushed Curva Nord withheld their usual support in protest during Monday’s Serie A clash between Inter Milan and Sassuolo.
According to Il Giornale via FCInter1908, there’s a raging tug-of-war between the ultras and the club hierarchy.
Federico Dimarco scored his first goal of the season as Inter returned to winning ways against Sassuolo.
However, Curva Nord’s silence overshadowed Inter’s all-important victory.
Indeed, the club’s most passionate supporters continue to signal their frustration with the upper management.

Around 70,000 people were in the stadium. Yet, the atmosphere was tense and subdued.
The conflict between Inter directors and fans started when the club withdrew its support for the arrest members of Curva Nord.
Since then, relations have remained strained.
Despite facing backlash from fans, Beppe Marotta and his associates are reluctant to change their stance.
Indeed, the club has shown no signs of yielding to pressure, as the leading officials stand firm on their decisions.
Meanwhile, with several high-profile Curva Nord members behind bars, tensions continue to grow within this famous fan section.
