Gonzalo Garcia has become one of Real Madrid’s major revelations following his impressive breakout at the FIFA Club World Cup that has caused a stir at Valdebebas.
The young forward, who had already stood out as the top scorer in Primera RFEF with Castilla, has seized his opportunity with the first team by scoring three goals in four matches under the guidance of Xabi Alonso.
Naturally, Garcia’s performances have not gone unnoticed, particularly on the international stage provided by the tournament held in the United States.
According to Fichajes, at least two Premier League giants are willing to pay the €50 million release clause included in the 21-year-old striker’s contract – setting off alarm bells within Real Madrid’s sporting department.
This comes on the back of reports suggesting that Chelsea had shown an interest in signing the Spanish attacker.

However, having previously rejected a €20 million offer from Sunderland, Real Madrid are not considering the sale of the Gonzalo Garcia at the moment.
His performances has been so impressive that he has gone from being a Castilla prospect to a serious candidate for a permanent place in the first-team squad next season.
In fact, the Merengues are now evaluating the idea of him competing directly with Endrick as a high-level alternative to Kylian Mbappe.
Moreover, Alonso has made it clear that Gonzalo is part of his plans. The Basque coach believes the player’s development has been rapid and that he has delivered in key moments.
As such, Real Madrid do not want to entertain the idea of his departure at this time.
