Egypt’s probable starting eleven against Switzerland

Egypt U17 will take on Switzerland U17 this Friday, November 14, 2025, at 13:00 GMT in the round of 16 of the FIFA U-17 World Cup.

The young Pharaohs advanced to the knockout stage as one of the top eight third-placed teams, finishing behind Venezuela and England in Group E. They defeated Haiti (4-1), drew with Venezuela (1-1), and fell to England (0-3).

The Egyptian technical staff is expected to make several changes to the starting lineup against Switzerland, who topped Group F with 7 points, compared to their last outing against England.

Having scored twice against Haiti and Venezuela, Hamza Abdelkarim will once again lead the attack. The Egyptians are counting on him to secure a spot in the round of 16.
