Uberlândia sign former Grêmio academy forward Da Silva for 2026 run-in | OneFootball

According to Globo.com, Uberlândia have confirmed the signing of forward Da Silva, 26, a former Grêmio academy player, for the remainder of the 2026 season. The deal was announced on Friday night.

Da Silva came through Grêmio's youth ranks and turned professional there between 2015 and 2020, taking loan spells at Caxias then Paraná.

After his Grêmio contract ended, he featured for Ponte Preta, Novo Hamburgo, Itabirito, São Luiz-RS, Brasil de Pelotas and Joinville.

UEC are his third club of 2026. He made one appearance for São Luiz-RS in the Campeonato Gaúcho and seven for JEC in the Catarinense, without a goal or an assist.

Uberlândia are in the Troféu Inconfidência semi-finals and face North on Saturday at 16:00 at Parque do Sabiá in the first leg. He will bolster their campaigns in the Copa do Brasil and Série D of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
