The Dutch side has also been hit with a £76,000 fine for the use of fireworks during their last European fixture in a 3-1 victory over Panathinaikos.
Interim Celtic manager Martin O’Neill’s side will head to the Netherlands in late November for a crucial Europa League group phase outing against Feyenoord in Rotterdam. Whether Martin will still be in charge by the time the teams meet on Thursday 27 November remains to be seen.

However what is certain is that Feyenoord have been ordered to shut their Gerard Meijer stand for their upcoming home games against Celtic and Sturm Graz.
UEFA had previously given them a suspended punishment for a similar incident that occurred during a game against Bayern Munich in the Champions League earlier this year.
They have informed their supporters that UEFA has followed through on its warning to close the stand.
A Feyenoord statement read: ‘UEFA’s disciplinary committee has announced the penalty we have been given. Sections Q, QQ, R, RR, S, T, TT, U, UU, and X will therefore remain empty when Celtic and Sturm Graz visit on Thursday, November 27, and Thursday, January 22, 2026.
‘The club have also been fined 88,000 Euros [£76,000} It is a severe punishment. Feyenoord will further examine the verdict, the facts and the background and will then consider whether to take the matter further.’

Celtic return to Europa League action next Thursday with a challenging away trip to Denmark to face Midtjylland, who currently sit top of the 36-team group phase table.
The Danish side have made an impressive start to their European campaign, winning all three of their matches so far, and lie just two points behind AGF at the summit of the Danish Superliga.
With a six-point cushion over reigning champions Copenhagen, Midtjylland have the opportunity to claim top spot this weekend when they face AGF.
