Manchester United are weighing up a move for Jobe Bellingham as part of Ruben Amorim’s January plans, with the Borussia Dortmund midfielder’s situation becoming increasingly unsettled in Germany.

The 20-year-old, younger brother of Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham, has endured a difficult start to life at Dortmund since his £25 million transfer from Sunderland last summer. Despite being seen as one of the club’s most exciting arrivals, Bellingham has struggled for minutes, starting only two Bundesliga games so far and failing to find the net in any of his 11 appearances.

Mounting pressure on Bellingham at Dortmund

Sources in Germany have suggested that tension has been growing behind the scenes, particularly between Bellingham’s father, Mark Bellingham, and Dortmund’s sporting director, Sebastian Kehl. The pair reportedly clashed earlier in the campaign when Bellingham senior voiced his frustration over his son being substituted on his Bundesliga debut.

That disagreement has since overshadowed Jobe’s early months at the club, fuelling speculation that his long-term future at Dortmund could be uncertain. While the midfielder remains highly rated, his lack of playing time and the off-field friction have drawn attention from several clubs across Europe, including Manchester United.

Amorim keen to reshape United’s midfield
