Valencia won the Orriols derby with a far stronger second half, Carlos Corberán's changes making the difference. According to Superdeporte, Umar Sadiq's impact and fresh legs in midfield tilted the game.

José Luis Gayà, six, lost the ball dangerously in the 10th minute, then Stole Dimitrievski, six, saved a point-blank effort. Hugo Duro, five, headed the first chance wide and was taken off soon after. After a flurry of changes, Largie Ramazani, seven, controlled on the edge and found the top corner, Sadiq's back-heel aiding the move, before he shrugged off Matías and beat Ryan to seal it.

At the back, Unai Núñez, six, again coped out of position at full-back, tactically tidy and tucking in as a third centre-back in build-up. César Tárrega, six, returned after four games and was solid. Eray Cömert, six, operated on the left, positioned well, showed his long passing and went off limping.

Pepelu, five, was booed on his return to the Ciutat and could not set the tempo, slow to move the ball. Filip Ugrinic, five, was hampered by an early booking. Luis Rioja, seven, grafted as a wing-back on Unai's side and delivered the cross for Ramazani.

Ramazani, seven, made his first start under Corberán and grew into the game once Javi Guerra, six, and Sadiq were on. Lucas Beltrán, six, kept offering a pass and duels but lacked precision late on. Guido Rodríguez, seven, brought order and will grow in influence, while Jesús Vázquez was on too late to rate.
