Valentín Barco says he wants Boca return, asked Leandro Paredes for shirt | OneFootball

Valentín Barco said: "My idea is to return to Boca, and to do it while I am well so I can bring joy, with titles I could not give now, but I hope I can in the future."

He added: "If I am in good physical condition, I can give back to the people everything they gave me," speaking to Lo del Pollo Mundial.

Despite a sour exit from the club, many Boca fans still view him positively. His proximity to the Argentina squad and a recent goalscoring debut for the Albiceleste have put him back in the spotlight.

With the World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada only months away, he wants to be in that squad.

He said he had asked Leandro Paredes for his shirt, and that they speak often and have a good relationship as Argentina team-mates.

The 21-year-old is currently with Racing Club de Estrasburgo and is very close to joining Chelsea.
