Vasco posted a farewell message to Pablo Vegetti as he heads to Cerro Porteño. The club said in a statement that it thanked him for his dedication.
The post praised the Pirata and noted that since August 2023 he played 143 games and scored 60 goals, becoming Vasco’s leading foreign scorer of the 21st century. It also shared a compilation of his moments with the club.

Vegetti has received a three-year offer from Cerro Porteño. At an advanced age, he viewed it as a final chance to secure a major contract.
Vasco did not oppose his departure and handled the process respectfully after being formally notified.
The move will not generate a fee, but the Rio club will save on his wages, which were among the highest in the squad.
