Marseille are braced for another lively winter window, with Robinio Vaz on his way to AS Roma. According to L'Équipe, the club are preparing for further changes.
Darryl Bakola is moving towards a departure after being upset by the decision to keep him out of the U20 World Cup in the autumn. He saw little game time in that spell. Despite a successful first start against Newcastle, the 18-year-old midfielder is frustrated with his use and appears determined to quit.
Angel Gomes could also depart. Arriving as a presumed starter and used as such throughout pre-season, the Englishman has been downgraded, viewed as too light as a midfielder or a playmaker despite a handful of important goals.
Any exits would give Marseille more room to pursue a No 10, the priority this winter.
Himad Abdelli, 26, is the top choice. He has made Marseille his preference and dreams of the move, and a contractual agreement between the parties is said to be in place.
