Celtic have gone into the halftime break against Ross County 1-0 up thanks to a goal from Kyogo. The Scottish Champions are braving sub zero conditions in the Highlands as they look to go 18 points clear at the top of the table.
At the break, Celtic are ahead through a brilliantly crafted opener from Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Adam Idah flicked the ball for Callum McGregor which led to the ball coming out to Alistair Johnston on the right. The Canadian fullback fired a brilliant cross into the box allowing Kyogo to stab the ball in from close range to net his 9th goal in the Premiership.
Amissah, who has denied Celtic a few times so far, was helpless given the flashed cross and finish as Celtic ramped up the pace of their play in the move.
It was a great finish from Kyogo and he could’ve had a hat-trick given the chances that were created in the first period but the Ross County’s keeper has been on good form.
Celtic will look to continue their domination on the ball in the second half as they look to go 18 clear of Rangers, who play tomorrow.
