(Video): Nicolas Jackson on the real reason Chelsea went all out against West Ham | OneFootball

Speaking to Nicolas Jackson after Chelsea’s win over West Ham, Sky Sports asked the striker why the team had looked so motivated in their comfortable win.

Jackson pointed out that the Blues “want to fight to play in Europe,” after a year in which we missed out entirely.

It’s an interesting aspect of this young squad in fact, many of them haven’t played in Europe much (or at all), and they must all presumably be on really incentivised contracts that will be pushing them towards this sort of performance.

We can possibly expect them to play like this through our remaining games this season, and that puts us in a very strong position to make it into Europe, just as Jackson and his teammates hope. This team have huge potential and quality, if they’re motivated too, they’ll be hard to stop. The goals are flowing and our striker clearly feeling himself.
