Chelsea have come from behind to beat Lincoln City at Sincil Park.
The less said about the first half the better. The home side deserved their lead. We can’t imagine Enzo Maresca was too happy. After picking such a strong team, he will have at least wanted an easy win. Instead, the home side made it immensely difficult for 45 minutes, and they deserve huge credit for that.
But the goal that changed all that was a beauty. After presumably getting a rocket from Enzo Maresca at half time, Tyrique George came out in the second half and launched a rocket.
A bobbling ball fell to him on the edge of the box and the winger struck it so sweetly on the half volley, letting out all his frustration from a difficult evening. He cut across it so nicely and left the keeper with no chance.

Facundo Buonanotte scores his first Chelsea goal.
Chelsea were suddenly confident, and it didn’t take them too long to add a second to complete the turnaround. George turned provider for this one, nipping the ball in for Facundo Buonanotte, who was playing just his second game for the Blues.
He weaved between some Lincoln challenges and was able to squeeze the ball beyond the goalkeeper. Clearly all those goals we’ve been hearing about in training are starting to translate to the pitch! He’s done his chances of playing more a lot of good here.

We will want some better performances than this, but we got the job done!
