Aston Villa have completed the signing of 19-year-old Alysson Edward from Grêmio.
The Brazilian winger has joined the Premier League club on a permanent deal.

The fee and contract length haven’t been officially announced, but Grêmio will receive a share of any future transfer. Reports suggest the deal could be around €10 million, with up to €2 million in add-ons.
Alysson first broke into Grêmio’s first team in mid-2024 and really made his mark last season, featuring 42 times, scoring twice and laying on three assists.
He’ll wear the number 47 shirt at Villa Park, as Aston Villa continue their strong run in the Premier League, currently sitting third behind Arsenal and Manchester City.
