Legends such as Giuseppe Rossi and Mateo Musacchio will pull on the yellow shirt in the USA

With a week to go until The Soccer Tournament (TST) kicks off, Villarreal can confirm the 20 players who will be representing them in their quest to win the million-dollar prize. The squad to take part in the competition is made up largely of former first-team stars, while former Yellows Academy footballers and players from three of the club’s international academies in the US (Villarreal North Texas, Villarreal Las Vegas and Villarreal Force) make up the squad.

The biggest names for the Yellows at the tournament in North Carolina include Giuseppe Rossi, Mateo Musacchio, Sergio Asenjo and Xisco Nadal.

The team will be coached by César Arzo, the Vila-real native who came through the youth academy before playing for the first team between 2003 and 2006. He is currently an academy coach.

The coaching staff will be completed by directors and coaches from the Villarreal international academies in North America. Todd Abbey (Villarreal Force), Gio Vazquez (Villarreal North Texas), Jorgie Rodriguez (Villarreal Alberta) and Neil Walsh (Villarreal Las Vegas) will all be helping Arzo.

The Yellows will face West Ham United, TenFifteen FC and Brown Ballers FC in the Group Stage.
