With the season nearing its end and the league already gone, Real Madrid are planning ahead. Vinicius is finishing strongly after a 0-2 win at Espanyol, where he struck twice for Arbeloa’s side.
Xabi Alonso’s exit has given the winger fresh impetus, and he appears to have rediscovered both smile and accuracy. According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, he often escapes to Es Pujols in Formentera, a discreet coastal village valued for privacy.
The Brazilian is about a year and a half from the end of his Real Madrid contract. From January 2027 he can negotiate with other clubs for a free transfer in June that year.
Es Pujols has fewer than 1,000 residents, white sand and clear waters, and a relaxed rhythm. Tourism is present but contained, with hotels, campsites and leisure options that avoid overcrowding and protect the area’s identity.
The seafront becomes the hub at dusk, combining calm with a modest buzz. Traces of its artisanal fishing past remain in the wooden huts that dot the shoreline.
Once the campaign ends, Vinicius faces a demanding schedule with little room to disconnect. The World Cup runs in June and July across Mexico, Canada and the United States, so every rest day counts. It would not be unusual for him to return to Es Pujols to recharge.
