It cannot be ruled out that Max Allegri is contacted by AC Milan and ends up returning, despite the comments from his former coach.
According to Antonio Vitiello’s latest piece for MilanNews, Milan will change their management structure in view of the next season. CEO Giorgio Furlani will choose the next sporting director and to date Fabio Paratici is the clear favourite at the moment.
There are those who say that he has already been chosen and only the signature is missing, but the Rossoneri ‘never lack surprises and twists’. Paratici is liked and has a good relationship with the CEO, however other sporting directors will also be listened to.
“Who will be the next coach of Milan? According to Giovanni Galeone it will not be Allegri. We are talking about the mentor of the Livorno coach, a trusted man and always close to Massimiliano,” Vitiello adds, referring to his interview yesterday.
“As said several times in the past, Allegri has never been contacted by Milan, not even a direct inquiry. However, a phone call between the Diavolo and the former Juventus coach could happen in the next few weeks.
“Probably today they want to give priority to the choice of the sporting director and above all they will try to let Conceiçao work in peace until the end of the year.”
