Dusan Vlahovic’s future at Juventus is increasingly uncertain, with the possibility of a dramatic move to Milan looming amid ongoing contractual and financial tensions. According to La Stampa and multiple reports from Tutto Juve and Bianconera News, Juventus are struggling to find a solution that would finally unlock the Serbian striker’s long-standing status as a high-profile asset that, for three years, has remained unsold on the market.

Vlahovic’s substantial contract, agreed by previous Juventus management, continues to weigh heavily on the Turin club’s planning. As Fulvio Collovati stated on Rai Sport, “Juventus is a prisoner of the contract given to Vlahovic by the previous directors, and Vlahovic is using this to his advantage. He’s been on the market for three years and no one has taken him. Probably at zero cost, someone will take him.” Milan, in need of a striker, and Manchester United remain clubs monitoring the situation.

The financial aspect is central to any possible transfer. Nicolò Ceccarini, also speaking to Rai Sport, explained that Juventus have “realised that Vlahovic does not want to give up his salary, he wants to leave and is digging in.” To facilitate a contract termination before its expiry, Ceccarini estimates the club would need to offer the player at least €6 million net—half of what he would otherwise earn in the final year of his deal—in order to reach an agreement. It remains uncertain whether Vlahovic would accept such a settlement, as there is also the possibility he could be sidelined if no solution is found.

Beyond the numbers, the human factor may yet play a role if Vlahovic ends up at Milan. Multiple observers, including Alberto Rimedio on Rai Sport, point to the strong bond between Vlahovic and Massimiliano Allegri. Rimedio notes that “the personal relationship between the two is excellent, and this could be decisive in pushing the player towards Milan, where Allegri hopes to help relaunch his career.” Though Vlahovic’s performances under Allegri at Juventus never fully met expectations, the respect between them has never faltered and could prove key to convincing the forward to start anew in Serie A.

Still, any club targeting Vlahovic must contend with the lack of compromise from his entourage. As La Stampa highlights, the striker’s representatives refuse discounts for either Juventus or potential suitors. The result: all outcomes remain possible, from a negotiated contract exit to the prospect of Vlahovic being frozen out as an outcast until a deal is struck.

With Milan in the hunt and Juventus eager to move on, the final outcome of this saga will depend as much on hard-nosed negotiations as on the personal dynamics between player and coach.
