Since arriving at Santos in August 2025, coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda has never beaten Palmeiras when playing away. The record against the green-and-white team consists of only two games, with one victory at Vila Belmiro and one defeat at Allianz Parque.
Vojvoda's first encounter with Verdão occurred on November 6, 2025, when Santos lost 2-0, with goals from Vitor Roque, in a match valid for the 32nd round of the Brazilian Championship at Allianz Parque. On that occasion, the defeat sank Peixe to the 17th position, while Verdão took the provisional lead in the standings.
