It’s been a difficult season for Palmer, who missed virtually the entire first half of the campaign with a groin injury.

The England international returned to action in December, and has shown some good moments, but he’s largely struggled to make an impact.

Cole Palmer untouchable at Chelsea

Palmer has scored ten goals and registered three assists in 25 appearances in all competitions, including a hat-trick against Wolves.

However, it looks like the 23-year-old is still dealing with the effects of the groin injury, whilst Liam Rosenior has struggled to get the best out of him.

Chelsea have failed to score in their last three games and are in danger of missing out on Champions League football.

Rosenior has insisted no top players have asked to leave in the summer, but Palmer has been linked with a move to Manchester United in the past, and Jacobs has provided a positive update for Chelsea supporters.

“Cole Palmer is untouchable at Chelsea, and anybody trying to get Cole Palmer this summer is going to be wasting their time,” he told The United Stand.

“Even if Chelsea don’t get Champions League football, I don’t see any scenario where Chelsea sanction a Cole Palmer exit.”

Enzo Fernandez has had his head turned?

Whilst Palmer is deemed untouchable the same seemingly can’t be said for Enzo Fernandez, who questioned his future after the defeat to PSG.

Reports have claimed Fernandez has had his head turned, and he’s been linked with a move to Real Madrid, with the Argentine said to be open to a switch to La Liga.

Chelsea are said to not want to make as book loss on Fernandez, and quite what fee they’d want is unclear, but it’s certainly a situation to keep an eye on through the summer.
