Erling Haaland was caught on camera urging Mikel Arteta to "stay humble" after Manchester City's 2-2 draw with Arsenal at the weekend.

City needed a 98th-minute equaliser from centre-back John Stones to snatch a point after ten-player Arsenal had sat back to defend their lead for the entirety of the second half, with emotions boiling over on a number of occasions.

After the final whistle, when Arteta entered the pitch to speak to his players, he found himself involved in one such incident with Haaland which escalated into a clash involving a handful of players.

In a clip widely circulating on social media, Haaland is seen telling Arteta, in an apparently aggressive manner, to "stay humble, stay humble", and is clearly waiting for a response before Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus intervenes.

"Come," Jesus says as he turns Haaland away from the Arsenal boss. "What what what what?" Haaland responds, to which Jesus answers: "Why you saying, you talking?"

An incensed Haaland squares up to Jesus and states: "Talking about what? I wasn't saying - f***ing clown". In steps Jack Grealish to separate the duo, with Jesus reacting: "Don't touch me".

"What you talking about?" Haaland says. "Get the f*** away, you f***ing clown." The Norwegian turns and walks away, and Arteta ushers Jesus and the rest of his players away.

As stated by Sky Sports, Haaland will face no retrospective action for his behaviour during the game, which also included throwing the ball against Arsenal centre-back Gabriel after City's late equaliser.

Haaland was also spotted barging Thomas Partey to the ground immediately after the restart, while he also asked Arsenal youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly "Who the f*** are you?" when the youngster sought to defend his fellow midfielder.
