Barcelona will go top of La Liga with a victory over Real Sociedad, and they have now managed to get back on level terms at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.

Hansi Flick’s side dominated the opening stages despite giving chances to the likes of Dro Fernandez and Roony Bardghji, and they have had a number of opportunities – albeit, none of them were clear. But regardless, they were punished for not scoring, as the visitors hit the front following a fine move that ended with Ander Barrenetxea crossing for Alvaro Odriozola, and the former Real Madrid defender turned the ball into the back of the net with his outstretched foot.

But minutes before half time, Barcelona have got the equaliser, and it has come from the head of Jules Kounde, who netted from a Marcus Rashford corner.

La Real will be disappointed to have not held on to half time, but for Barcelona, they can now take this into the second half in their search for another victory.
