Wesley avoided a sliding tackle from Casemiro during Brazil training on Friday, after the midfielder had earlier gone in strongly on Endrick.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Wesley anticipated the challenge and jumped clear, leaving the former Manchester United midfielder unable to make contact.

In the earlier incident, Casemiro slid in to try to win the ball from Endrick. Unlike with Wesley, the tackle connected, but the striker was not injured.

Léo Pereira, Lucas Paquetá, Alex Sandro and Danilo trained as normal with the Brazil squad.

The expectation is that the midfielder will start on Saturday against Egypt in the United States. Kick-off is at 19:00 Brasília time.
