West Brom are close to finalising the seven-figure signing of Falkirk striker Barney Stewart. Final details are said to be being thrashed out, and the 22-year-old is said to have travelled to the Midlands for talks and agreed terms on a four-year contract.

The deal is reportedly set to include add-ons for Falkirk. Meanwhile, speculation that Serhou Guirassy had agreed a move to Fenerbahce was denied by his agent and brother in comments to Sky Sports.

Albion are said to be keen on Celtic first-team coach Gavin Strachan. The 47-year-old has been a key figure since arriving six years ago.

Aston Villa are assessing potential replacements for Emi Martinez, who is heavily linked with Juventus, and are reportedly battling Manchester United for Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki. Villa have also kept tabs on Real Sociedad’s Alex Remiro.

Unai Emery’s side are linked with Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy and are considering a move. He has scored 56 goals across two seasons for Dortmund and is also said to be on Tottenham’s radar.

Barcelona’s option to sign former Villa loanee Marcus Rashford for €30 million, around £25.5m, has expired. The 28-year-old will officially return to Manchester United on one July, which could open the door for Villa. Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Newcastle United and Tottenham have also been named as potential destinations, and Rashford is currently involved in the Club World Cup.
