A host of Championship outfits have been linked with Amario Cozier-Duberry, who is currently shining at Bolton Wanderers on loan from Brighton
Championship quartet West Bromwich Albion, Preston North End, Bristol City and Sheffield United have all been linked with a January loan swoop for Brighton and Hove Albion talent Amario Cozier-Duberry, who is currently making a significant impression on loan in League One with Bolton Wanderers.
Having rejected the offer of a new contract with Arsenal, Cozier-Duberry joined the Seagulls in the summer of 2024 and soon departed on loan to Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
The winger struggled for form and game time at Ewood Park, starting on just six occasions, but has flourished after dropping down a level to join Bolton, establishing himself as arguably the finest player in English football's third-tier this term.
Still aged just 20, Cozier-Duberry has returned six goals and six assists from 15 appearances, including notable late strikes against Leyton Orient, Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City.
He scored and set up two goals apiece in Bolton's 4-0 rout of Port Vale over the weekend, elevating the Trotters to third-place in League One, and his future at the Toughsheet Community Stadium is now beginning to be subjected to strong speculation ahead of the January transfer window.
Reports back in September disclosed interest in Cozier-Duberry from Sheffield United, who are believed to have been watching the ex-Arsenal prodigy in action for Bolton amid a disastrous start to the 2025/26 Championship campaign.

With Football League World recently breaking the news of manager Chris Wilder's intentions to end three loan deals at Bramall Lane once the January window rolls around, including that of Aston Villa forward Louie Barry, interest from the Blades would make sense.
But, as first reported on Monday evening by Elliot Cook, Brighton have no plans to recall Cozier-Duberry from Bolton following the turn of the year in order to promote him to a Championship side, with the Seagulls impressed with his progress and intent on keeping him in the North West.
The agreement does, however, as many do, include a break clause, which could still ensure an exit out of Bolton for Cozier-Duberry if Brighton see fit.
A fresh report from BBC Sport has disclosed interest in the winger's services, with second-tier trio West Brom, Preston and Bristol City all described as "potential destinations" following the previous aforementioned links to last season's play-off finalists.

It's unclear just how probable it is that West Brom, Preston and Bristol City will be able to convince Brighton to take him away from Steven Schumacher's side and back into the Championship for the latter stages of the campaign, although it does appear likely that more clubs will begin to join the intensifying race for the prospect in the coming weeks.
Bolton supporters will not be surprised in the slightest to see Cozier-Duberry garnering increasing interest from the division above, with the 20-year-old forward evidently a class or two above League One at this moment in time.
There's already interest from West Brom, Preston and Bristol City, it would seem, and more of the same from the rest of the division feels inevitable.
He's often been completely unplayable for the promotion hopefuls, which has begged the question as to how they were able to acquire him on loan in the first place.

Cozier-Duberry is a firm fan favourite and clearly has a future well above the third-tier, and his talents belong in the Championship right now - but that doesn't necessarily mean Brighton will recall him, with the wide-man settled and enjoying his football as part of an attack-minded, promotion-chasing side under Schumacher.
