West Brom find themselves in a tricky predicament in the lower reaches of the Championship table, and have little time to make moves in the transfer market before the deadline.

It has been, by West Brom's standards, a dismal campaign, with the Baggies on course to record their lowest league finish since 2000.

Indeed, West Brom last finished in the bottom half of the second tier all the way back in the 1999/2000 season, with the club consistently finishing at least within the top half of the second tier or in the Premier League since then.

Ryan Mason's appointment went far from planned, as despite a promising start, the former Tottenham Hotspur and Hull City midfielder would be dismissed after 26 league games, winning nine and losing 13.

Now, former Manchester United coach Eric Ramsay has arrived from Minnesota United, though winless in his first three, whilst conceding nine, it hasn't been an ideal start for the Welshman.

Max O'Leary has arrived from Bristol City to address the goalkeeper situation, though with just days of the window remaining, the Baggies are seemingly set for a busy end to the window, with business looking as if it is far from done.

Leo Hjelde and Nectarios Triantis namedropped as potential West Brom targets before the end of the window

Football League World's West Brom fan pundit, Callum, has shared their opinions on who they believe the Baggies should look to sign between now and the end of the window following the impending arrival of Imray.

Callum said, "With Danny Imray signing, that addresses the concern at right being back. I'd probably say some of the concerns of the squad I've got are in midfield."In an ideal world where we could spend money, I'd like us to revisit the move for Nectarios Triantis at Minnesota United, where Ramsay managed him for a couple of months. There were some links to the start of the window, whether they were true, who knows?"He'd be a midfielder I'd really like to see us bring in, like the box-to-box type, which in a 3-4-3, you're really going to need someone to have some quality on the ball, really good ability to break up play. I think he'd be really worth the money."Also continuing this with the Sunderland connection now, I think we're also looking to get some loan players in another area to address. I'd say it's probably left centre back as Charlie Taylor's not pulled up any trees."I think on loan, Leo Hjelde potentially might be someone who gets some interest in the last week of the January transfer window when teams are looking for who's available or not. I don't think he's going to be getting many minutes for Sunderland in the Premier League, so I think that if possible, he might be someone worth looking at."

Eric Ramsay has little time remaining to make key additions to his West Brom side this January

With the window due to close at 7pm on February 2nd, teams in the Premier League and EFL will be looking to make some last-minute deals to prepare their squads for the final stages of the campaign, with West Brom being no different.

By all accounts, Ramsay has inherited a strong side at West Brom, possessing the likes of Mikey Johnston, Aune Heggebo, and Isaac Price in attack, Alex Mowatt and Jayson Molumby in midfield, whilst Chris Mepham, George Campbell, and Nat Phillips occupy the defence.

Despite this, West Brom find themselves hovering just three points above the drop zone, with each of the four teams beneath them having games in hand.

It's an unfamiliar position for the Baggies to be in, and the final days of the window could have a huge effect on their campaign and whether Ramsay can rescue their season.

The additions of players like Triantis and Hjelde would absolutely help to boost their survival prospects, but whether either would bring the necessary impact remains to be seen.

Triantis worked with Ramsay at Minnesota United, whilst Hjelde has fallen out of favour at Sunderland following the Black Cats' promotion.
