West Ham United have Sheffield United midfielder Sydie Peck high on their list of summer transfer targets, according to The Athletic.
West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo is working on bringing new signings to the London Stadium club following relegation.
The Hammers have been running the rule over the ‘colossal’ Peck since January and are convinced he has huge potential.
The England under-21 international was one of the best players for the Blades last term and has impressed over the last two seasons in the Championship.
West Ham will also look to strengthen at the back and Cardiff City defender Dylan Lawlor is a target.
The 20-year-old ‘super talented’ Wales international had a fantastic breakthrough season and is expected to be lured away from the League One club.
Joining the Hammers could appeal to Lawlor given that he could be playing in the Premier League with them in 2027.
The Welshman may not have plenty of experience, but he also possesses huge potential and could be a hit in the Championship.
West Ham must recruit players capable of earning them an instant promotion to the top-flight, and both Peck and Lawlor are perfect options for them.
Peck bagged five goals and weighed in with four assists in 40 league games during the 2025-26 season, deservedly earning a nomination for the Championship young player of the season award.
The Blades are likely to play hardball with suitors as keeping the 21-year-old could help boost their promotion chances.
However, his contract expires in the summer of 2028 and this could be the best time to sell him for valuable fee.
West Ham will be ready to table a concrete bid and hope they can convince Peck that he has a better chance of playing in the top-flight next year while playing for them.
