West Ham United sign former Bristol City attacker Morgan | OneFootball

West Ham United have completed the signing of former Bristol City attacker Ffion Morgan on a free transfer.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Hammers this afternoon.

The 25-year-old joins West Ham United after leaving former club Bristol City last month. She has signed an initial two-year deal with the East Londoners.

Morgan spent four years with Bristol City after joining the club from Crystal Palace in summer 2021. The player went on to make 89 appearances for The Robins in all competitions, scoring 15 goals. She was a Barclays WSL2 title-winner with Bristol City in 2023.

On the international stage, Morgan has been capped by Wales on 46 occasions while she has scored two goals. The attacker represented her country at UEFA Women’s EURO 2025.

After joining West Ham United, Morgan said “I’m buzzing to be here. The conversations with the Club have gone on for a little while now so it was an easy decision in the end.

“I’m a versatile player and can adapt to different positions. I have a lot of energy, I’m quick and can create chances for myself and my team. I like to be given the license and the confidence to express myself and hopefully I can show that in the famous Claret and Blue.

“The last few months have been unreal. It’s been a dream come true to represent my country at a major tournament, especially with the amount of Welsh fans that were in the stands, including my family and friends. It was surreal – honestly, an unforgettable moment.

“That’s made me even more excited for what’s to come in this next chapter at West Ham. I’m really looking forward to getting started.”

Morgan is West Ham United’s second signing of the summer transfer window.
