Barcelona continued their dominance over Real Madrid with yet another victory at Montjuic this evening.
The 4-3 win gives Barça a huge advantage in the race for the league title, with the Catalans now leading Los Blancos by seven points.
With three matches remaining before the season ends, the road is clear for Barcelona to secure the league title.
Interestingly, Barcelona have a chance to secure the title even if they lose all of their last three matches, provided Real Madrid fail to win all of their three matches.
For a start, Real Madrid can lose the league title on Wednesday itself, at least on practical terms, if they fail to win against Mallorca.
However, Barcelona will win the league mathematically if Real Madrid lose to Mallorca on Wednesday.

Should Real Madrid win against Mallorca, then Barcelona can seal the title on Thursday night when they take on Espanyol in the Catalan derby.
Should Barça lose the derby, the title race will continue for one more matchday, extending until this weekend, where Real Madrid will take on Sevilla, whereas Barcelona lock horns with Villarreal.
The formula applies here. However, if Real Madrid drop points against Sevilla, Barcelona can win the title without having to win their game against Villarreal.
In case Real Madrid do win, Barcelona can secure the title by winning against Villarreal this weekend.
All in all, Barcelona can win the league title so long as Real Madrid fail to win all of their remaining three matches this season. If Real Madrid do win all of their matches, Barça must only secure one victory in three matches.
