Upon his return, what will his role actually be?

What is Andries Ulderink's new role with Cape Town City FC?
Andries Ulderink has officially been appointed as the Head of Football for Cape Town City FC, clarifying his position following his return to the club. This new role defines his responsibilities after his recent presence in Cape Town had sparked speculation.
The Dutch coach, 56, had a brief initial stint as head coach this season before his surprising departure to become an assistant manager at Bayer Leverkusen under Erik ten Hag.
His expansive new duties have now been outlined by a source close to the club, who confirmed the agreement to FARPost. “He will oversee all football operations at the club, including the first team, youth teams and recruitment. He will also serve as the key link between the club’s sporting and business functions,” the source revealed.
This strategic position indicates that Ulderink will shape the club's long-term sporting project, focusing on the overarching structure while the day-to-day coaching remains under the purview of Vreman. His involvement was signaled last month when he was seen monitoring the team's performance against Leicesterford from the VIP section.
Ulderink's extensive career across Europe, which includes roles at clubs like Rangers, Twente FC, Royal Antwerp, and Reading, provides a significant foundation for this high-level executive role.
