Bayern Munich have reached an agreement to sign Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Bavarian giants have been heavily linked with a move for Brown in the recent weeks, and it appears that they have brokered a deal.
Brown started for Germany in the 7-1 win against Curacao, and scored a goal to mark his impressive rise for club and country.
We reported previously that Max Eberl and Markus Krösche had been in talks over Brown deal for the past few weeks, and the two clubs have reached an agreement of €55m transfer fee including add-ons for Brown.
Christian Falk has informed exclusively to CFBayern Insider that Bayern are still working on how much they will pay upfront and the structure of the deal.
There are suggestions from Bild that Frankfurt would agree to €50m fixed plus €5m bonuses, and Bayern should not reject the idea.
The German champions want to the finalise the transfer at the earliest, and as it stands, nothing stands in the way for the two clubs to close the deal.
The player is expected to undergo his medical after the Curacao game in the United States, and will sign a long-term deal at the German club until 2031.
It was a dream World Cup debut for Brown, who grabbed a goal and an assist against Curacao, and will be looking to continue his impressive show.
The deal suits all parties involved. Frankfurt are making huge profit from the transfer, having signed him for cheap, while for Bayern, he is the right profile of player they need.
A young German international whose best years are ahead of him ticks many boxes already. Above that, he can also play on the right flank, and his versatility could be a great asset that Vincent Kompany may utilise.
It remains to be seen if Bayern would keep Alphonso Davies at the club beyond the summer. In case, the Canadian stays, Bayern will have terrific depth and quality at the back.
