Alejandro Garnacho should have opened his account for the Premier League season during Manchester United’s trip to Brighton on Saturday afternoon.

But a very costly touch on the line from Joshua Zirkzee to knee the ball over while he was in an offside position cost both the Argentine his goal and his side the lead.

What was the Dutchman thinking? Could he have done better to get out of the way and let Garnacho’s effort roll into the empty net?
