Chelsea returned to winning ways against Southampton on Tuesday night and Wesley Fofana sent a message to one player on social media after the game.
The Blues cruised to a 4-0 win against the Premier League’s bottom club thanks to goals from Christopher Nkunku, Pedro Neto, Levi Colwill and Marc Cucurella.
The win moved Chelsea back into the top four, although they could drop out of the top four depending how Newcastle and Manchester City fare in their fixtures on Wednesday evening.
It was a positive night for Chelsea with four different goal scorers, whilst Fofana was back in the match day squad for the first time since the 3-0 win against Aston Villa in December.
Neto impressed through the middle again, with Enzo Fernandez brilliant in midfield, whilst Cucurella was named man of the match.
With Chelsea in control there was an opportunity to give Tyrique George minutes, and the teenager didn’t disappoint as he registered his first Premier League assist.

Josh Achemapong also got a run out, whilst Shim Mheuka made his Premier League debut, with Mathis Amougou making his Chelsea debut.
Amougou joined Chelsea on deadline day in a deal worth around £12m from St Etienne, and Maresca openly admitted the teenager won’t feature much this season.
The 19-year-old came one as a late substitute, with it very difficult to gauge how good he is from his seven minutes on the pitch, but he looked comfortable in possession.

Making your Chelsea debut is a big moment and Fofana took to Instagram after the game to congratulate the midfielder, as he shared a picture of himself and Amougou to his story saying “Congrats lil bro.”
Amougou has been added to Chelsea’s squad for the Conference League so there’s a chance he could make his European debut for the club a week on Thursday when the Blues travel to Copenhagen.
