Narrow victory for Luis Díaz and Colombia

Thanks to the winning goal two minutes before the end of regular time, Luis Díaz and the Colombian national team secured a 2-1 home victory in a friendly match against New Zealand on Saturday night. The German record champions’ winger played 64 minutes in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. His team took an early lead through former Leverkusen player Gustavo Puerta (3rd minute), before Ben Old equalised from a pass by former Bayern player Sarpreet Singh (80’). Laimer and Austria on course for World Cup

Konrad Laimer and the Austrian national team are on the verge of their first World Cup appearance since 1998 after beating Cyprus 2-0 in Limassol on Saturday.
