Joao Pedro started for Brazil over night, and his performance has been reviewed by the local and national media.
Pedro did not start the last game for Brazil, he instead came on as a second half sub but was unable to really effect anything.

Even still, he got the nod to start last night for his country, with his side beating Croatia 3-1 at home in a friendly match.
Pedro’s recent form for Chelsea has been pretty good before this little slump they are going through. But before that, he was pretty inconsistent.

ESPN were one of the first to rate Joao Pedro’s performance:
‘He had the freedom to leave the area, but when the ball arrived, he wasted a good opportunity to score for the first time.’
They rated him a 6.
Terra in Brazil wrote:
‘In command of the attack, Joao Pedro had opportunities, but without great impact, participating in the offensive movement, but failed to transform presence into effectiveness.’
So not great seeing as his side won 3-1.
Chelsea have already made two new signings who are arriving in the summer, one winger and one striker. Although it’s being debated that they aren’t quite the ‘Estevao level’ of signings this week.
It’s also being claimed that Chelsea will now look to sign more ‘ready-made’ stars and are even looking to tweak their transfer model a bit in the wake of the criticism received from their own player, Marc Cucurella, earlier this week.
