VfB Stuttgart forward Nick Woltemade is one of the hottest prospects in Europe at the moment.
He is currently tearing up the European U21 Championship, bagging six goals and three assists to inspire Germany to the final against England.
Woltemade also had a prolific campaign at club level last season, tallying 17 goals and three assists in all competitions.
His meteoric rise has caught the attention of Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
Woltemade’s stock could rise further if Germany win the U21 Euros this weekend, and Stuttgart may struggle to retain him.
Lucrative offers from top clubs could tempt him as he is one of the lowest earners at Stuttgart.
According to Bild, Stuttgart are open to selling Woltemade for €60 million.
Bayern have a strategy of snapping up the best talents within the Bundesliga, and Woltemade is in their sights.
The German champions want to recruit a solid back-up for Harry Kane, but it is unclear whether Woltemade would accept a secondary role.
Bayern’s focus is currently on a new left-winger, and AC Milan’s Rafael Leao is among the potential targets.
Woltemade is on Madrid’s wishlist, while Atletico have also enquired about him
Inter have been impressed by the German striker’s performances, but a deal looks unlikely due to their pursuit of Ange Yoan Bonny.
