Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Jorgen Strand Larsen likes the idea of a move to Leeds United if he leaves Molineux, according to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein.

Leeds are the only club to submit a bid for the Norwegian. Wolves rejected the offer, but the Whites remain keen and their pursuit is ongoing ahead of the transfer deadline next Monday.

Strand Larsen’s agent Tore Pedersen supports Leeds and wants him to join the club.

Crystal Palace also want the Wolves star, with their sporting director Matt Hobbs eyeing a reunion. He brought him to England in his previous role at the Midlands club.

Leeds will have to table a tempting offer in the coming days as Wolves are open to holding on to the 25-year-old beyond the winter window despite the strong chance of relegation.

Strand Larsen’s agent will do everything possible to ensure his client secures the move, but it remains to be seen whether he will be submitting a transfer request.

The Leeds target has six goals in 23 games this term after ending last season with 14 goals in 38 appearances.

The Whites were held to a 1-1 draw at Everton last night, with a late goal from the hosts denying them all three points.

They are six points above the relegation zone after 23 games and are not guaranteed safety.

Leeds could do with another top striker despite Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s form, and signing Strand Larsen could be the game-changer for them.
