A fixing from a speaker on the roof of the Sir Jack Hayward Stand became dislodged and fell into the South Bank, hitting a fan.

The supporter received prompt treatment from on-site medical staff for minor injuries, did not require hospital care, and was later able to return home.

As a precaution, around 200 fans were moved from the area at half-time, leaving a visible gap in the stand for the rest of the match.
